Ill-defined erythema and edema
Papules, vesicles and bullae
Exudation, fissuring
Scaling
Chronic eczema presents as
Erythema edema vesiculation exudation but less than acute
Thickening of skin with well-defined skin markings which occurs after rubbing and scratching
Fissures and excoriation
Hyper or hypopigmentation
Complications
Bacterial infections ( staphylococcus )
Viral infections ( herpes simplex, papillomavirus, molluscum contagiosum )
Neurodermatitis
Seborrheic dermatitis
Anxiety and stress
Sleep problems
